Winter Fuel Allowance

Winter Fuel Payment scheme 2014/2015

The amount of Winter Fuel Payment you can receive each winter can vary according to your personal circumstances. You could get between £100-£300, tax-free to help pay your heating bills. Your age or other people living with you who are also eligible can affect the amount you receive.

You will receive a payment for 2014/2015, if you have reached the qualifying age which means you were born on or before 5 July 1952.

If you previously received a Winter Fuel Payment and there has been no change in your circumstances, you don’t need to apply, payment will be paid automatically with your state pension.
